Gérard Gnanhouan, ex portier des Éléphants de Côte d'Ivoire, vient d'intégrer le staff du club de Dijon FCO et ce, après la rupture de son contrat avec le club français du FC Sochaux-Montbéliard. La nouvelle de l'arrivée de l'ivoirien au DFCO a été rendue publique sur la page Facebook du club de Ligue 2.
Âgé de 43 ans, Gérard Gnanhouan va intégrer le staff d'Omar Daf au poste d’entraîneur des gardiens de but. L'ex international ivoirien s’est engagé pour les deux prochaines saisons c'est-à-dire jusqu’en juin 2024. Passé durant sa carrière de gardien de but au FC Sochaux-Montbéliard, Gérard Gnanhouan y était revenu comme entraîneur des gardiens du centre puis de l'équipe première depuis juin 2017.
Du haut de ses 43 piges, Gérard Gnanhouan a joué 35 matchs de Ligue 1 et 21 de Ligue 2. Il compte également 5 matchs de Coupe d’UEFA à son actif. Il a remporté la Coupe de la Ligue en 2004 avec le FC Sochaux-Montbéliard. Sur la scène internationale, il compte neuf sélections avec la Côte d’Ivoire. Bon vent Gérard Gnanhouan!
