La France annonce définitivement la fin de la task force Takuba.
Après plus de huit ans de présence militaire dans le Sahel dans le cadre de la lutte contre le terrorisme la France vient d'annoncer ce 1er juillet la fin du déploiement de la task force Takuba, une agrégation de forces spéciales européennes chargées d'accompagner les forces maliennes au combat face aux groupes armés djihadistes.
"La réorganisation du dispositif militaire français au Sahel, décidée en relation étroite avec les partenaires européens et nord-américains, a conduit à la fin des opérations de la task force Takuba au Mali à compter du 30 juin" , a déclaré lors d'un point presse le général Pascal Ianni, porte-parole de l'état-major des armées françaises selon RT France.
Les nouvelles autorités maliennes ont exigé le départ de la force Française Takuba et mis fin à toute coopération militaire Française tout en tournant désormais vers la société de sécurité privée russe "Wagner".
