Le syndicat national des distributeurs de gaz de Côte d’Ivoire (Synadigaz) a annoncé la suspension de son préavis d’arrêt de travail prévu le lundi 10 janvier 2021. Cette annonce selon le président de cette organisation syndicale Kouamé Bezeme, intervient après une rencontre avec le ministre des Mines, du pétrole et de l'énergie, Thomas Camara.
« Suite à notre rencontre le jeudi 06 janvier au sein de vos locaux, nous avons décidé de la suspension provisoire de notre préavis d'arrêt de travail », indique le communiqué parvenu à notre rédaction.
On rappelle que la Côte d'Ivoire a fait une importante découverte de gisement de pétrole et gaz dénommée "Baleine". Ce gisement doit rentrer en production dès 2023
En septembre 2021, le gouvernement ivoirien avait annoncé la découverte d’un important gisement de pétrole et de gaz naturel au large des côtes près de la frontière ivoiro-ghanéen. La première phase de production de ce gisement estimée à 2 milliards de barils par jour, débutera en 2023.
