Après sa libération intervenue le 31 mars, le ministre Charles Blé Goudé s’est adressé à ses concitoyens, "demandant humblement pardon" à ses "frères ivoiriens" pour les violences du passé et à ceux qu’il a pu blesser ou offenser, affirmant vouloir œuvrer à une véritable réconciliation du pays.
Charles Blé Goudé a également lancé un appel aux autorités ivoiriennes, espérant de leur part l'amnistie, qui lui permettrait de revenir en Côte d’Ivoire avec Laurent Gbabgo.
Il explique avoir rassemblé tous les documents afin d’obtenir son passeport ivoirien et se dit confiant que les autorités ivoiriennes lui délivreront bientôt ce document, un "geste politique" selon lui.
Il faut rappeler que le président du Cojep et l'ex président Laurent Gbagbo ont patienté plus de 10 années dans les couloirs de la CPI à la Haye avant d'obtenir leur liberté.
Leurs partisans les attendent en côte d'ivoire pour leur rendre un vibrant hommage.
Il faut également noter que la CPI a lancé de nouvelles enquêtes par rapport à la crise post électorale de 2010/2011.
