Depuis le dimanche 23 janvier 2022, il y a des bruits de bottes au Burkina Faso. En effet, Paul-Henri Sandaogo Damiba est le nouvel homme fort du Faso. En revanche, Roch Marc Christian Kaboré est resté muet et plusieurs médias croient savoir où il se trouverait. Selon Jeune Afrique dans une récente publication du lundi 24 janvier 2022 à 13h18, il se trouve actuellement au camp du général Baba Sy, situé dans la capitale, près de l’échangeur de Ouaga 2000, et est toujours entouré d’éléments de se garde rapprochée.
Des médias très respectés comme la radio allemande Deutsche Welle et l'Agence France Presse ont assuré que le président Kaboré était aux mains des mutins. Cependant, s'il est toujours entouré d'éléments de sa garde rapprochée, nous disons qu'il n'est pas "vraiment" aux mains de ses ennemis.
Pour rappel, des soldats se sont mutinés dimanche dans plusieurs casernes du Burkina Faso pour réclamer le départ des chefs de l'armée et des "moyens adaptés" à la lutte contre les jihadistes qui frappent ce pays depuis 2015.
