Aujourd’hui, 8 mars 2021, le monde entier célèbre la journée internationale des droits de la femme. Les Nations Unies proposent chaque année une thématique mondiale et en cette année 2021, la Journée internationale des femmes a donc pour thème : « Leadership féminin : Pour un futur égalitaire dans le monde de la Covid-19 ».
Il est bon de rappeler que la Journée internationale des droits des femmes, a été officialisée par les Nations unies en 1977 et célébrée dans de nombreux pays à travers le monde le 8 mars est une occasion de faire un bilan sur la situation des femmes.
En Côte d’Ivoire, Asalfo du célèbre groupe Magic System qui continue de faire la fierté de la musique ivoirienne en Afrique et dans le monde a saisi cette occasion pour adresser un message au monde : « En cette journée consacrée aux droits de la femme, je réaffirme mon engagement en faveur de l’égalité de genre, tout en m’insurgeant contre toutes discriminations faites aux femmes, afin de leur permettre de jouer pleinement leurs rôles dans la société ».
