De plus en plus d'animaux aquatiques dont de dangereux sauriens se retrouvent en dehors des eaux, leurs milieux naturels. Qu'est-ce qui motive des sorties ? Des investigations doivent être entreprises afin de sécuriser les populations. Sinon le pire pourrait vite arriver. Soyez donc prudents et vigilants dans les rues des quartiers jouxtant les eaux, notamment celles de la Riviera, carrefour Mél. Là, dans la nuit du dimanche 26 février, les pompiers ont été alertés pour capturer un saurien errant.
L'opération de sécurisation des populations et de capture de l'animal dangereux s'est déroulée dimanche soir, non loin du rond-point " Mel".
Avec professionnalisme, les pompiers ont stoppé la marche du saurien, suivi de sa mise en sécurité.
Au matin du lundi 27 février, l'animal a regagné son lieu de confort, les eaux douces de la lagune Ebrié. Cependant, les habitants du somptueux quartier de la Riviera doivent redoubler de vigilance, surtout que des cas similaires se sont déjà produits dans le quartier.
