Steven George Gerrard, né le 30 mai 1980 à Whiston dans la banlieue de Liverpool, est un ancien footballeur international anglais ayant évolué la quasi-totalité de sa carrière dans son club formateur de Liverpool avant de conclure son parcours au Los Angeles Galaxy. Il est actuellement entraîneur du Rangers FC. Son palmarès compte deux coupes d'Angleterre, trois coupes de la Ligue, une Ligue des champions, une Coupe UEFA et deux Supercoupes d'Europe. En 2005, Gerrard est troisième au vote pour le Ballon d'or. Gerrard est considéré comme l'un des plus grands footballeurs anglais de tous les temps. Sa vision du jeu, ses passes, dont ses transversales, ses frappes puissantes, son panache et sa loyauté envers Liverpool font de lui une légende chez les Reds. Aujourd'hui, au poste d'entraîneur chez les Rangers, il détient un plus grand nombre de victoire sur ces 40 derniers matchs.
