À quarante-et-un ans, celui qui a remporté la Ligue des champions en 2012 avec son équipe fétiche va donc apporter toute son expérience aux jeunes du club. Depuis 2018, l'ex-international anglais était en poste à Aston Villa où il occupait le rôle d'entraîneur adjoint. Terry prendra ses fonctions à partir de janvier, mais ne travaillera qu'à mi-temps selon L'Équipe.
