L' international ivoirien attaquant Sebastien Haller ne pourra certainement pas participer à cette rencontre décisive. Pour cause, il est testé positif au Covid-19! Cette information n’est pas la bienvenue pour les éléphants de Côte d’Ivoire qui a besoin forcément d’une victoire pour se positionner. Et Sebastien Haller est l’une des pièces maîtresses de l’équipe de Baumelle. On pourrait dire ainsi que les nouvelles ne sont pas bonnes pour nos pachydermes qui ne veulent pas rater cette Can 2022. Puisque Haller est l'un des buteurs dont son absence n'arrangerait pas les éléphants. Pour rappel c'est 26 joueurs plus 4 réserves qu'a convoqués l’entraîneur Buamelle dans le cadre de ses deux rencontres de la 4e et 5e journée des éliminatoires de la Can 2022.
