Alors les dirigeants du club londonien tentaient tout pour prolonger le contrat d’Antonio Rüdiger qui arrive à terme à la fin de la saison mais le défenseur allemand aurait refusé toutes les offres de prolongation des Blues jusqu’à présent. Il serait même sur le point de rejoindre le Real Madrid l’été prochain gratuitement.
D'après les informations révélées par le quotidien The Independant le défenseur central des Blues aurait conclu un accord informel avec le géant madrilène. Le frère et en même temps représentant de Rüdiger, Sahr Senesie aurait rencontré les dirigeants Merengue en novembre et aurait trouvé un accord avec Florentino Perez et ses collaborateurs.
