Le capitaine du Real Madrid et de l'Espagne est entré en jeu pendant la rencontre amicale contre les Pays-Bas et a disputé ce mercredi son 176e match en sélection.
Une participation qui lui a permis d'égaler Gianluigi Buffon, qui était jusqu'à hier le joueur le plus capé de l'histoire du football de sélections de l'UEFA. C'était avant l'entrée en jeu de Ramos à la 86e minute de jeu contre les Pays-Bas.
Alors qu'il reste encore deux matchs de Ligue des Nations à jouer pour l'Espagne, Sergio Ramos est quasiment assuré de devenir le joueur le plus capé de l'histoire du football de sélections de l'UEFA dans les prochains jours.
Le défenseur madrilène avait fait ses débuts avec la Roja alors qu'il avait 19 ans. C'était en 2005, lors d'un match contre la Chine.
