L’international ivoirien Hassane Kamara vient de s’engager avec le club anglais de Watford pour 3 saisons. Le latéral gauche quitte l’OGC Nice qu’il avait rejoint en juillet 2020.
La Coupe d’Afrique des Nations débute dans quelques jours, le 09 janvier précisément. Même s’il n’est pas présent sur la liste des 28 joueurs sélectionnés par Patrice Beaumelle, le défenseur ivoirien Hassane Kamara, évoluant à l’OGC Nice depuis juillet 2020 vient de s’engager avec un club de Premier League, Watford en l’occurrence. L’ivoirien a signé son contrat aujourd’hui et a directement visité les installations et le centre d’entraînement des Hornets. La nouvelle de son transfert a été relayée sur le compte Instagram de son nouveau club.
C’est donc un nouvel ivoirien qui débarque dans le championnat réputé le plus difficile du monde. Le latéral gauche arrive pour renforcer Watford classé 17e et qui lutte pour se maintenir en Premier League. Le montant du transfert s’élève à 5 M€ pour un contrat de 3 saisons.
