Le bananier Lida Kouassi Moïse serait tombé à Lakota où il était en compétition avec Kouyaté Abdoulaye du parti au pouvoir.
L'ancien ministre de la défense sous Laurent Gbagbo, en lice pour les législatives dans la circonscription de Lakota Commune et sous préfecture, n'aurait pas réussi à " arracher le tabouret des dida " au député sortant Kouyaté Abdoulaye Rhdp et par ailleurs directeur de cabinet du ministre Kandia Camara. A en croire son colistier maître Dackoury, les paroles de Lida Kouassi Moïse n'auraient pas convaincu ses parents. " Nous avons fait le constat hier nuit 6 mars 2021 que nos parents dida n'ont pas porté leur choix sur nous, contribuant ainsi à notre défaite", a-t-il lâché sur son compte Facebook.
Il a tenu à saluer " nos compatriotes dida, en particulier, et des ivoiriens vivant à Lakota, en général, qui ont perçu notre message, et ont voté pour nous".
